Here Are 5 Reasons PVC Fencing is the Best Choice

Are you considering fencing in your yard? If so, what factors are most important to you?

There are several things you need to consider when it comes to investing in a fence. For example, you need to know how much it will cost, how much privacy it will offer, how easy it is to maintain, and much more.

PVC fencing is one of our favorite types of fencing that we offer. Keep reading to find out why.

1. Privacy

One of the best things about PVC fencing is the privacy they offer. While chainlink fences offer almost no privacy, PVC fences are exactly the opposite.

Depending on your style and your privacy needs, you can build six-foot-tall gapless PVC fencing around your entire home. This can be great for giving the kids a wonderfully private backyard to play in or using the privacy to sunbath on sunny afternoons.

Regardless of why you want privacy, it's hard to beat what PVC fencing offers.

2. Easy Installation

While we always recommend hiring the right people for the job, PVC fencing is especially user-friendly. Every piece is fabricated to coincide with the other pieces, making it similar to fitting puzzle pieces together. Also, PVC fencing material is made much lighter than its wood and metal counterparts, which makes for easier labor for everyone involved.

However, we must warn you that digging proper post holes and perfectly measuring the layout of the fence can be easier said than done. Take extra precautions to make sure the job is done right or make it easy on yourself and hire professional contractors.

3. Cost-Effective

If saving money is one of your top priorities while building a fence, PVC fencing is one of your best options. This is especially true if you count in the amount of money you save with PVC fencing's high durability and low maintenance requirements (covered below).

PVC fencing is more expensive than simple wood-paneled fences. However, they are significantly more durable and easier to take care of.

4. High Durability

Unlike wood fences, PVC fencing isn't susceptible to the elements. For example, after years in the sun, a wood fence will begin to fade and lose its luster. A wood fence will also warp and potentially rot due to high moisture conditions such as rain, snow, ice, and even high humidity.

PVC fencing doesn't have any of these vulnerabilities. It is impervious to moisture and the sun's harsh rays. Additionally, when installed correctly, PVC fencing can also withstand high winds and anything else nature can throw at it, including pests.

5. Low Maintenance

Due to PVC fencing's high durability, it requires exceedingly little maintenance. For example, once the fence is installed, you don't need to worry about staining, sealing, or painting it.

Moreover, PVC fencing doesn't require regular maintenance such as refinishing it after a few years or replacing rotting planks. It's also incredibly easy to clean, which can be accomplished with a garden hose and the occasional elbow grease for caked-on dirt, grass from the mower, etc.
